Even exiting can be confusing for some. I am sure the big sales were a factor in getting nowhere fast. Trying to pick the right lane so you can be first at the red light might make a difference but it looks a little crowded up there.
If anybody wonders why some people drive like this all one has to do is look at the rear of the van to see that they are protected.
