A Quiet Sunday Morning

While I was traveling on County Road 15 in the west metro I had the opportunity to encounter this person.

While there isn't anybody else on the road, is this still a good idea? The speed limit is 50 and drops to 35 at the curve.

When I see drivers making poor decisions I can only hope that this is in my future.

The 394 Problem

I wonder what people think when they stop in the middle lane? Do they wonder why traffic is backed up? Do they ever think that they are part of the problem? I know I am because every time I stop it takes me awhile to get going again.

Last One

Maybe MnDot should have placed this sign in a better spot. It does seem odd that your attention should be directed to your left rather than reading a reminder to your right. Why is there a sign anyways? If we have our licenses we should know not to cross the lines. Regardless, no more of these pictures.

Break Time?

No, this was not from any of my recent trips to Mexico. I wish I had thought of this.

Still Beating That Dead Horse

$1,000,000. Just remember that.

Irony

I find it somewhat deceiving that this trucking company would want to "Keep America Moving SAFELY", only to have this truck exit from the left lane.

Um, Whoops

I can see losing one tire, but two? I wonder what the horses were thinking? If I was the owner I would blame it on the Minnesota winters.

The Dreaded Double White Line

It is so nice to see that people from other states show the same disregard for the simplest traffic laws as us Minnesotans do. Of course these laws are in place for our own safety and for a constant steady traffic flow, which very few people seem to understand.

Wonderful 394

One of my favorite roads and one of my favorites moves. I was blessed on my travels on 394 Sunday.

A Saturn

See the Saturn speeding onto 252 at 70 plus....

See the Coon Rapids Cop closing in on the Saturn.......

Moral of this story? Saturn's are not race cars.

Good Advice

Too bad no one will pay attention to this sign.

Here is the poster child for this billboard. I did notice the driver who I assume is dad, is wearing his seat belt, and why wouldn't you tailgate?

How Can You Argue?

One never knows where I will be and who I will see. If 94 is closed and you take the detour on 169, why then you just make room for yourself anywhere you want. I have a headache.

Nice Move Buddy

Nothing like putting yourself in a bad spot and inconveniencing everybody else. What you cannot hear is the red truck tires skidding. He bailed onto the shoulder. When this guy made it to 394 of course he was in the left lane as soon as possible.

Tight Spot

A little look over the shoulder before merging is not a bad idea.

IOWAY????

Maybe this guys plate is an acronym for Idiots Out Wandering Around Yonder? What I can't figure out is if one is to cut across four lanes of somewhat heavy traffic, why not get to the front of the pack? Slamming your brakes on at 70 plus isn't that great for your rotors. Talking on the phone and reading while driving probably isn't the best driving habits you can have either.

No Thank You

I would think you can't make a lot of mistakes driving this truck.

North Minneapolis

The place where I was born and raised. Even the 50 are present.

I was wondering if this guy was running late?

Where else would you have a sign that asks you not to litter? I bet Edina doesn't have these. I really like the car with the ladder tied onto it.

Bumper Sticker's

The best one I have ever seen.

This one is for owner-operator truck drivers. The quit bitchin' caught my eye. It sounds like good advice to all my hate e-mail fans.

Why?

I will never be one to question why traffic backs up. This guy could be the leader.
