I wonder what people think when they stop in the middle lane? Do they wonder why traffic is backed up? Do they ever think that they are part of the problem? I know I am because every time I stop it takes me awhile to get going again.

are there warnings that there are "exit onlys" far enough back to give these people a chance to make a decision? Could be they're from out of town.
