Red Lights Anyone?
I often think that there is a law that states that it is legal to turn right on a red light when an 80,000 pound truck is approaching. On two different ends of the metro, drivers act alike. Now me being a rational free thinker, I try to think what these people are thinking when they glance at me and go. Maybe they don't want to wait? Maybe they think I am going slow. I do find it hard to gage someones speed when they hardly look at me, but what do I know?

Unreal. I guess that explains a lot about the ones that look at my bike or my little car... and then cut in.
Keep those brakes in top condition.
Too bad you can't send some of these photos to the boy's in blue and get these whack jobs off the road, or at least make them think before doing it again.
Keep up the good work. You will never have a lack of material from what I have seen both here and on the road.
This tendency to make dangerous right turns baffled me when I moved out here ... and I used to live in NY, where driving stupidity is part of the DNA (but people didn't make dumb right turns).
My favorite example was at 280 and Broadway, before they closed the intersection following the 35W bridge collapse. The number of times I would be cruising along at 45 or 50 mph, only to have to hammer the brakes because someone made a stupid right turn at that intersection . . .
Once the new bridge opened I have avoided 280. I used it quite a bit even before the bridge fell down and have had some harrowing moments on it. My best bet was to use the left lane but all that did was hold traffic up. Now I will only use it if I have to.
