I don't know why I like driving on 394 so much. Maybe because you just never know what you will see. Traffic bailing onto Hwy 100, lane changing at will, even stopping in the middle lane because why wait when you can inconvenience everybody else. Everyday on 394 is an adventure waiting to happen.

I need to use the Dunwoody/ Hennepin exit to get home. I can't tell you how many times after I am in the exit lane I have come around the curve and one of the bozo's who have been sitting there decide the wait is too long so they just pull into the exit lane so they can get off the freeway to go and sit in the 94E/35W entrance ramp farther up on Hennepin Ave.
Nevermind, they can't see what's coming around the curve or maybe they aren't paying attention for whatever reason and don't look (and they just believe the hype that their car really will go from 0 to 60 in less than a second).
I have learned to really slow it down (below the speed limit) when the traffic is lined up there, which really pisses off the people behind me who are entering from Penn Ave and want to zip up and cut in as close to the front of the line on 394 as they can.
I may have to adapt your:
"Everyday on 394 is an adventure waiting to happen."
way of looking at it. though in my humble opinion that might just qualify as the understatement of the year. ; )
I really wouldn't worry about the people behind you because if they had the same patience you show then traffic would move smoother. 394 is a strange road, it really brings out the worst in people and their driving habits. I find it better to slow down and watch. I see that this country we live in is a "me first" society.
