................Our roads are in such bad shape? Talk to this guy. There are by my count 66 watermelon bins in this truck. My guess is they weigh about 1200 pounds each. That puts the load hauled at roughly 79,200 not including the pallets. Add another 40,000 pounds for truck and trailer, 119,200 pounds. That puts him at 39,200 overweight. Three loads hauled at once.

That's really a depressing picture when you think of all the things that could go seriously wrong as those watermelons make their way to wherever they're going... like for example, some yahoo decides to make and illegal u-turn on the freeway in front of this guy like on 94 last weekend....
Weigh station? What is that? I rarely if ever lose sight of the IDS Tower.
