A Big Mistake

One of the reasons why I am not surprised how people act around me. If they won't stop for a train, they won't stop for a truck. An average LRT weighs 105,000 pounds. A Honda Civic weighs about 3,000 pounds. Very bad odds.

Breaking news!
An update to this story...........
He's dead. (big shock)

wondering if driver was:
1) on a cell phone
2) under the influence of something
3) a teenager
4) a moron

I think I read that witnesses reported the guy driving around the crossing arms. That strongly suggests option 4: moron.

If he'd tried that out in the countryside, where there are freight trains going upwards of 70 MPH, there wouldn't have been anything left....

Also, this is why I think physics class is more important than the silly little driving thing they do in Health class. F=ma (force equals mass times acceleration) is a very important lesson, and it's much better to learn it in a classroom than on the road.
