It's hard to tell from the video, but are you already slowing down before that sob cut in front of you? I know you shouldn't have to "reward" jackasses by making their jackassery easier, but you're also never going to be able to teach them the error of their ways (even if that's not what you're trying to do if you don't slow down for these assholes). It's just a thought.
Personally, I love driving/riding behind trucks on the freeway, especially during heavy traffic. They're generally very predictable and don't speed up/slow down all the time, which means I don't have to shift as much if I'm behind them. I feel so much more threatened by cars than I ever do by trucks.
I was slowing, saw the signal and braked, then sprained both my ankles trying to avoid slamming into her and her finger.
Yeah, it did look like a huge effort to not obliterate her. Well done, sir.
The simple things that most people don't understand will never fail to astonish me. It's so much easier to get behind somebody than to squeeze in ahead. Plus, big heavy trucks are harder to stop and they do more squishing than any car.
I had someone flip me off once… well many times, but this one time I told the guy “thanks for the conformation” he said “conformation of what?” and I said “your 1 digit IQ, but I’m still 1 point smarter then you” as I gave him 2 middle fingers.
Good job on not killing this idiot. Know even with the video they would have gotten a BS lawyer to make it your fault.
